How’s that evil government health care working out for ya, Sprocketman? Do the Socialist nurses give you an extra prostate exam whenever you stamp your feet and cry out for one?

And gee-golly, BTW, what j-school did you attend? It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a writer craft a narrative in old school capriform.

  2. Bob Reed says:

    Well edge,
My prostate, and overall health, is fine; Thank God. And for your information, just as I didn’t capitalize on my ethnic background for a free ride through school, neither do I use the government health care services available to me. As I am privately insured, I leave those services for my American bretheren who are truly in need…

Ethics and integrity, it’s what’s for breakfast each day in my home…

And do you mind telling me what a “capriform narrative style” is? I mean, for those of us without MFA’s…

You seem extra-bitter edge; didn’t you enjoy your vacation?

And now that we’ve brought our personal histories up to date, how about commenting on the content of the post..?

  3. Edgell McHickfistter says:

Private insurance, you don’t say. Is it paid for by a Socialist government entity?

A double Socialist leech! Duality in hypocrisy ain’t easy!

Want to talk about the topic, eh? Did you know the late great Ted Kennedy, our perpetual man of the people, fought for universal health care since the early seventies? And it’s not like all eleven-year-old’s are essentially scripted, hmm, but at least their scripting was true to Teddy’s form.

Can’t afford a dictionary? Cost of medical insurance is a bitch, ain’t it.

  4. Bob Reed says:

You mean, after he refused to agree to the approach that Mr. Nixon proposed? It was Teddy’s intransigence that led to the stalemate and failure of Nixon’s landmark proposal for employer funded national healthcare…

But as in most things, Teddy had a “my way,or the highway” attitude. He had his chance to team up with Nixon for a bi-partisan national healthcare bill 35 years ago, but squandered it for purely partisan reasons. That’s how dedicated he was to “the little guy” and health care…

And, my insurance is paid for out of wages, thank you. As far as the definitions of capriform that I saw, I know that you aren’t referring to me as a goat, so I figured there was a more nuanced, MFA kind of meaning to that term…
