More white noise from the dead media. If you want to listen to the mainstream media soon you’ll have to channel them through a psychic. Because their DOA and here’s why, http://stopthepresses2.blogspot.com/search/label/chico

“… Chris “Tingle” Matthews declared, “My job is to make the Obama Presidency a success!”

I woulda thought that was Obama’s job.

Thanks for the link. Nice to know I’m noticed on occasion.

You have expanded the theme wonderfully. Good read.

  4. Peter says:

I don’t understand this bunch, they all campaigned as either centrist or center left candidates, except for some in Congress that actually campaigned to the right of their Republican oponents. Now they are trying to govern far to the left of how they campaigned and they are surprised at the public reaction.

Just as the Republicans had been governing far to the left of how they campaigned, and then acted surprised when the public sent them home.

These politicians all think they are smart. Too bad they aren’t smart enough to keep their public promises. No, too bad they aren’t smart enough to understand the reaction when they break those public promises.

    So true Peter, well said…

Maybe it’s time to toss them all, and start with a new deck!

  6. geoffb says:

Gee, I look like a “snowcone”. Glad I’m not him.

  7. Bob Reed says:

Me too geoffb! I wonder how you got that icon?

  8. well, now I have to see what it gives me for an icon…

    I can’t quite make it out maggie…

You should make it a kitteh; you can do it by signing up for wordpress…

If you didn’t want to fiddle with it, I’m sure RTO could work it out for you.

  10. gravatar. yes! you can see a larger, animated version on the sidebar here don’t remember why he did that. I think just because of how my kitty was posed.

  11. Bob Reed says:

That’s pretty funny. Thanks for the lead, I was about ready to get a magnifying glass!

  12. SDN says:

At some point people are going to reach the conclusion: “If I’m going to get all the downsides of being a racist wingnut what wants to kill people, I might as well actually, you know, be one; at least I’ll put some of these morons out of my misery. And besides, people stopped offending Muslims when they realized they’d literally get their heads handed to them, so….”

  13. Bob Reed says:

Very good point SDN. There’s also the “Boy who cried wolf” angle that I’ve been speaking of. Between the two factors the charge of racism is becoming weak indeed…

  14. MCPO Airdale says:

Good read Bob. What surprises me is that anyone would be surprised! Teh Won pulled these same shenanigans against the Clintons during the primaries.

  15. The Monster says:

I was discussing this with Monsterette 1 just last night. If we use the word “racist” to describe people who object to certain policies AND people who believe that a person’s skin color consigns him to either the Master Race or Untermenschen (and that the former are entitled to abuse or even kill the latter), then we have a problem.

We have become Smurfs or Marklar.

    REVOKE “THE CARD”: http://3.ly/rtcard

  16. Bob Reed says:

    Good point MCPO,

As you say, the use of it in the primaries against Hillary indicated to me that it was not a question of “if” the card would be played against his opposition, but “when”…

  17. по-настоящему удивили и порадовали :) Не поверил бы, что даже такое бывает :)
