Castro Says US On the Offensive in Latin America
I'm sure that it has nothing at all to do with Stephanie Villafuerte's withdrawal as nominee for Ambassador to El Salvador.
And it appears that Obama's even letting Hillary take notice of the cozy relations between Latin American Marxists and Iran.
Meanwhile, Chavez taunts Obama.
And que milagro! Â A major media player publishes what should have been obvious for months.
Open-Mindedness and Plurality of Opinion from White America
The newest Rasmussen Pres Approval Numbers show that Whites continue to display a diverse range of opinion regarding the nation's first HalAfrican-American president.
The President earns approval from 37% of White voters and 98% of African-American voters.
Hmmmm. Nothing to see here folks! Move along.
PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUSE IS
I don't want to clutter someone else's blog with this, so here's the gist. I'm still royally angered/saddened by the Lakewood ambush, so I'm devoting my blog posts this week to guilting donations out of anyone and everyone. Here's the detes.
More! from the “picture is worth a thousand words” department
This sign, recently seen in Colorado speaks volumes on the public's discontent with Obama across the nation. But, more importantly-at least for some folks-dows the acceptance of the signage by the occupants of the homeless camp mean that they are in fact "unconscious racists"? Or, are they just tacitly accepting of racism? And I don't recall this kind of thing ever happening to JFK or FDR, and while probably racist to do so, is it fair that Obama be taken to task, that he be made to "own" the economy that he's taken "command and control" over?
Or does it just mean that the narrative construct that is Barack Obama has finally jumped the shark? Based on an experience I had over the weekend in deep blue Long Island, I'm thinking so; but more on that later.
Ezra Klein Claims Lieberman Willing to Kill Hundreds of Thousands
to settle political scores, principally interested in torturing Dems. Does that mean Kos is to blame?
Much more hyperventilation. Hey, maybe Lieberman could be bought off like Landrieu or the Congressional Black Caucus. Principle.

The New Big Lie: those emails don't mean anything significant
Behind Obama’s Tougher Rhetoric
During his acceptance speech and regarding Iran. Iran's been working on a nuclear trigger, so, those who insisted for all that time that Iran really did intend its nuclear ramp-up for peaceful purposes, you can drop the charade.
Another charade you can drop: The schools may not be safe or good, but the teachers' unions are.
The Judas Ratio – Revisited
This is a Repost - from an old blog of mine. I have attached a portion of a comment received that further develops the concept.
For several years I have been toying with the concept of a "Judas Ratio." The Judas Ratio can be thought to be the 8% (1/12) of any demographic segment (whether professional or otherwise) that can be expected to be complete scoundrels.
The concept originated with my father, Dan Sr., who postulated the thought to explain the "radical priests" during the pedophilia outing that occurred some years back. He said something along these lines: "If the Master Himself had one among his group who would sell Him and his own soul for a bag of cash, isn't it likely the rest of us will have to suffer the same?" That goes for the Church, our schools, our bureaucrats, our politicians, our businesses (managers and employees alike), our neighbors, our family members, et cetera.
I think there is something to this Judas Ratio business. It may be that some of the 8% are never found out, while others are eventually dis-covered. But, nonetheless, I think it holds.
If this Judas Ratio is true, is it only true in respect to individuals, or could it be true to an individual? I mean, could 8% of our own thoughts also be a Judas to ourselves? - Nevermore
Nevermore's observation is right on the money. The fallen aspect of Man exists solely within the individual - an inheritance from the First Parents. And all expressions of this fallen nature come from the individual - in thoughts, actions, and words... that is, the weeds of sin sown by the devil alongside the wheat requires the active participation of the individual to manifest.
What a brutal cancer.
Return of Travelgate?
Congressional investigators looking into the abrupt firing of AmeriCorps inspector general Gerald Walpin have discovered that the head of AmeriCorps met with a top aide to First Lady Michelle Obama the day before Walpin was removed.
According to Republican investigators, Alan Solomont, then the chairman of the Corporation for National and Community Service, which oversees AmeriCorps, had denied meeting with Jackie Norris, at the time the First Lady's chief of staff. But recently-released White House visitor logs show that Solomont met with Norris on June 9 of this year (as well as on two earlier occasions). President Obama fired Walpin on June 10 after an intense dispute over Walpin's aggressive investigation of misuse of AmeriCorps money by Obama political ally Kevin Johnson, the mayor of Sacramento, California.
After being presented with the visitor logs, investigators say, Solomont explained that he met with Norris to discuss Corporation business but did not discuss the Walpin matter. When pressed, Solomont said he might have made an offhand comment, or a mention in passing, about the Walpin affair, but that he and Norris did not have a discussion about it.
