Oh wee, another chance to drop the racist dime on that Slingblade idiot, Stacy McCain.
Hey, Patterico, are you referring to the time Jeff stood tall and defended Letterman? That was a hoot, the day the PW swarm decided in unison that Letterman was never ever funny. I agreed with Ghoster Goldstein on Letterman, for the record. It was little more than a poorly worded joke.
How Ghoster G keeps on defending RSM’s intent or how he pimps that Jonah Goldberg garbage I haven’t the foggiest. If I was to go psychoanalytical, I’d say he gets lost in the kindred spirit of victimization brotherhood, but I dunno, who can really say outside of the classically trained Freudians.
Eff RSM, racist or not – and there’s only one honest conclusion, IMHO – he’s still the bitterest of panty stains.
Hi Darleen! Spin, old girl, spin and sputter!
O!
——————————-
I posted this over at Attila the RSM Defender’s blog but she’s got some moderation block on so who knows if she can handle thor action. I doubt it. Sounds like Attila’s one for cheap politics before honesty.
BTW, is that the Kip’s Big Boy in the graphic or is that Bob? Arf.

Did Shoney’s restaurants give them permission to use the Big Boy in this way? Words cannot express how profoundly repulsive this is.

That book was actually produced by Mitt Romney’s Massachusetts, not GLSEN. I don’t know why Mitt Romney let this sort of thing be produced.

That’s its specific provenance I guess. The person what went to the conference for the express purpose of finding icky inappropriate stuff didn’t notice it til she got home.
Sally Turner, 73, of Carlisle, an Article 8 Alliance supporter who attended the conference, is not unlikely full of shit. Did she keep her mouf shut cause wanted to make sure this pamphlet was available for kids cause it would be politically useful? Not unlikely I don’t think.

That’s a whole different dealio… Margot was the hoochie what did the Q&A session at Tuft’s University in 2000 where someone asked about fisting… Margot wasn’t a GLSEN employee… Margot is a disgruntled idiot I think. Do you really think she has a ton of credibility?

I think that if she’s the one who took the rap for something that was on the agenda, then she’s right to be disgruntled. Do you really think she was a “rogue employee”?
The charge is that GLSEN had a major role in shaping the agenda. NGO’s directing government resources without having to submit to democratic vetting is pretty much Obama’s idea of paradise.

That was a q&a session – the fisting question wasn’t “on the agenda” … Margot wasn’t fired by GLSEN…
Margot’s talking about the DOE… that hate site that Jim Hoft gets all his stuff from tries to tie Jennings to Abels like this…
But if you look at the program [PDF] … it says the hapless Margot is a coordinator of the HIV\AIDS Pogram of the Massachusetts DOE.
I think Margot worked for the DOE and that it’s Republican Paul Cellucci’s Education Deparetmnent that people should have a problem with.
Jim Hoft is an enthusiastic hatey liar I think. There’s absolutely zero proof that Kevin Jennings is responsible for Margot’s stupid fisting enthusiasms.

oh. Here’s the link for pasty shut-in Jim Hoft’s go-to hate site. I don’t think anyone with any discernment can read that and conclude a link between Kevin Jennings and Margot Abels. This is a hate site pitched to the ear of gullible stupid haters. Haters like First Thing’s Jim Hoft and the ever-screechy Fox News whore Michelle Malkin.

I haven’t visited there much since Karl started cross posting at Cap’n Ed’s; also Pat talks about a lot of L.A. stuff that is probably of more interest to you than folks here on Long Island…

My only comment on the contents of this guide are that I hope that it is being given only to high school age students. While I disagree with the lifestyle choices that it provides instruction for, and believe that there are some “curious and impressionable” teens who may be led down a road they may have not traveled otherwise by it’s content, it is important to address the public health issues involved in this lifestyle’s acts…
And, I also believe that there are better things to be teaching our children in public schools, like, oh, let’s say, how to proficiently read, write, cipher, and myriad other non-sexually related topics…
I’m no prude, and I recognize, and remember, all of the “activities” of my teenage years, as well as what went on around me. But, I believe that there is also an element of wishing to “mainstream” homosexuality involved. Just as the schools should spent less time on “social justice” so to should they not be trying to mainstream alternative lifestyles.
But there is a fine line to walk here, with respect to public health issues, the pursuit of happiness, and progressive societal agendas…
There are bigger fish to fry, but this is an example of how far the public schools have strayed from actual educational prusuits. And, it’s an indocation of how liberal what passes for a Massachussettes Republican can be?
Hear that Mitt Romney?

that was a misunderstanding forever ago, Bob… I was quoted something psycho said if I remember right –
psycho can be startling for people who aren’t used to him I think…
I don’t think that book was even appropriate for high school kids but I think it was a mistake unrelated to anything Mr. Jennings is about. He’s a dirty socialist and is steeped in all sorts of whack job queer theory but its irresponsible for First Things and its psychotic commenters to call him a pedophile child pornographer pervert what wants to get children raped.
I think it would be a better world if dirty socialist organizations like GLSEN didn’t exist, but hate campaigns like First Things and Michelle Malkin’s is what gives these groups their justification I think.
This is crass opportunism on the part of people who are trying to hijack the Not Dirty Socialist agenda I think.
Isn’t it weird that hatey Michelle and hatey Jim have no criticisms to offer about how Kevin Jennings is comporting himself in his new job? But Energy Secretary Steven Chu is doing untold harm to our little country.
I think Steven Chu likes young boys. Could someone please pass that on to Michelle?

Ha! If she were told that she’d be all in, I’m sure!
I agree with you that in many ways it seems like there are some who are more concerned with the benefits their criticisms bring them personally than in actually combatting Obama and the Soros-sphere’s socialist agenda. And that’s just wrong.
Sure, we all need to look out for ourselves, and I don’t begrudge people profiting from doing what they love-blogging about politics for instance.
But it should be about the ramifications on our nation and way of life, and not about over-emphasizing the trivial, and manufacturing faux Outrage!.
I mean, there’s enough real stuff happening to generate real outrage over; nothing need be made up nor misconstrued.

I’m still wondering if Kevin Jennings is getting the raw fist… ‘feets, I lurvs your commentary and you’ve my respect, and your support of Jennings is unsettling to me. Does this Jennings guy deserve your unequivocal support? He’s supposed to be the ‘Safe Schools’ czar, making schools safe…for every kid in the nation, ‘kids’. OK, I’ll bite; given that he’s not actually a pedophile, that he’s not a ‘fisting kit’ distributor; but he did form GLSEN, an organization with a stated purpose of community organizing gay kids.
Is he really up to the job of working with all kids? Can he relate to the majority, to straight kids? What’s his qualifications outside of GLSEN that make him worthy of his position? Is his appointment just a bone thrown to the Gay Community, those who’ve been disappointed with Teh O!ne’s seemingly standoffish treatment of their causes?
Better question, I suppose: are any Obama-appointed lefty-narrative-steeped ‘czars’ good for our country?

I can’t comment at your blog anymore… something’s changed where I don’t have the option I used to use…
But I think I’m less supportive of Kevin Jennings, who seems fairly insignificant in the scheme of things, than I am unsupportive of the hatey Holt/Malkin campaign against him. It’s 100% on par with what has been leveled against Mrs. Palin, and I think it irresponsibly and maliciously furthers harmful stereotypes.
I think this sort of campaign is part of the problem of our little country’s recently manifested and rapidly increasing suckyness.

I checked off an option that requires at least an OpenID of some sort. Because it seems that all of the purely ‘anonymous’ people all hail from Sadly, No! or lower, and I’m not going to entertain a comment from that realm.
OpenID’s requirements aren’t difficult to meet. Blogger is a free service that a lot of people sign up to to to have that OpenID. The blog is optional! A TypePad account is even better, as they have a list of sign-ins that includes g00gle, Facebook, Myspace and Twitter.
The days of purely anonymous commenting are over. Thank people like SWWNBN and that barrelful of used douchebags, thor, &c.

Of course GLSEN is a dirty socialist community organizing group, serr8d… but if it was a problem it was a problem before Kevin Jennings got his bullshit Department of Education job I think.
This campaign has nothing to do with challenging GLSEN’s policies or approach… Kevin Jennings left the organization before the election… and there’s not a single person what’s been brought forward what Mr. Jennings can be said to have in anyway harmed. This is an ugly political attack on a good guy what is a little light in his dirty socialist loafers is all I think.
Kevin Jennings is an elections have consequences thing.

But I think my point is more that if people want to go after Kevin Jennings, they should do it in a way that’s not overheated and cartoonish and inciteful. And what Jim Holt and Michelle Malkin are doing is hateful and wrong… there’s no reason whatsoever not to think that Kevin Jennings has acted in good faith with respect to running an organization he thought was helpful in making schools a better place for gay kids.
Fisting kits. Who are these people?

It seems every Obama appointee has had a double dose of raised eyebrows. That’s our jobs, to offset the easy treatment the MSM gives ‘em, to discover exactly what is hiding in their narrative-advancing hearts.
Let’s say Kevin Jennings is as pure as wind-driven snow (well, no, that’s implausible; maybe wind-driven snow that refuses to melt for 20 weeks and is becoming a bit dirty). He becomes a target of Michelle Malkin and whoever else. Is that only because MM &c. only picks on low-hanging fruits? Are these attacks simply wrong, because it’s Jennings, or because he’s gay, or are these attacks justified just because he’s an Obama appointee?
As I said before, Jennings has 2 strikes against him just for being there, as Obama’s choice. There’s plenty of other ‘czars’ out there with potential to cause damage. Maybe taking out another one might sully all of ‘em (the scattershot effect).
Why should Jennings get a pass?

ok that was clever with the fruits…
I think the attacks are wrong cause they’re very dishonest with respect to actually implicating Kevin Jennings in any wrongdoing…
I don’t think Jennings should get a pass at all. But I don’t think he should be the target of a hate campaign either. He’s not a bad guy I don’t think, and he certainly hasn’t been shown to be a bad guy. He just a run of the mill dirty socialist, and I think we can oppose these ones without brutalizing them and tagging them as pedophiles. That’s how they do it in fucking Indonesia for Christ’s sake.
