Tension and Torque

In the present day I am reminded of the Declaration of Independence. In short, when it became clear to those in the New World that their overlords were an entire sea away – a grand divide existing between those in charge and those pursuing their happiness on the ground – the realization occurred that the parasites who would tax them and rule them were completely out-of-touch with the host. The realization occurred that bloodlines and origin were just so much romanticism – and, in fact, nothing but chains. That the overlords of the day knew nothing about the minds of the New World peoples they sought to control to their exclusive benefit. The sons and daughters of England realized they were no longer being served by their fatherland… but whored instead. Treated as bastards, yet expected to comply blindly with the wishes of father.

Something of the same – possibly worse – is the state of affairs between the ruling class of today and the little people they bleed to their sole benefit.

I have said it before. I will say it again: I have as much affinity with Barney Frank, Chucky Schumer, Pelosi, Reid, and the One! as I do with a Sri Lankan. And on the Right, it is much the same. We are no longer being governed by us. We are being governed by the Others. DC may as well be across the Atlantic – so out-of-touch are they. And their contempt for “we the people” is stunning.

Do they not see what they will reap? The enemy is of the same passport. And this makes the enemy traitorous. This is why it is worse – the crime being committed against we the people – than that of a King who has never set foot on our soil.

Tasty Sentiment Indeed. h/t EddieBear

  1. Enoch, we are agreed. In my opinion, this is FAR worse. A price must be exacted.

It is true that We the People slept for far too long. We did nothing to check the power of the elites as it grew.

But now the People are awake. For the last many months they have been making their will known, only to be dismissed out of hand by those who now fancy themselves oligarchs. They cannot pretend that they have not heard us. They have indeed. They simply no longer think they have to listen.

Despite their arrogance, the Constitution has not yet been abandoned in favor of another document. Therefore, it is still the law of the land. And these bastards, now in full violation of it, have become a domestic enemy. This is war. And the People know it.

The only question still to be answered is precisely how it will be fought. We must use our heads first and foremost, or we will fall victim to that most famous of quotes by Georg Büchner. Let us make certain that OUR Revolution does not devour its children but instead crushes the enemy against whom we rightly set ourselves.

I think Dan hit upon something a couple of weeks ago. I think the first thing to do is to clog the system up with lots of paperwork. Grind it to a halt by doing our best to be paid in cash and to make cash transactions, sparing others from having to declare a sale has occurred. Availing ourselves of the gravy train – even if we don’t need it. To the extent that we can, we need to use the very System against itself. Throw more shit down the pipe while starving the government to the degree possible of its blood – tax revenue. Grind the fucking thing to a halt.

Enoch, Dingy Harry’s last name is spelled REID not REED! Please don’t associate that loser with me by name…

That said, you are correct in your assessment. That these alleged leaders would presume to go against the wishes of a clear majority of the citizens shows an out-of-control arrogance that exceeds anything I’ve ever seen in my life. Although I disagree with you about it’s prevalence on both sides of the political spectrum; I think the Democrats own the monopoly on statism, although the Rethugs! have been tone deaf to the people’s wishes in the past. And we’ll see next year if the Dems live up to their threat to make another run at an amnesty bill…

We have to hold all of these punks responsible at the ballot box next fall. They’re counting on the elecorate having short memories. Let’s cut their careers short instead…

Awww, now the ballot box instead of the bullet clip?

Poor babies, you haven’t fared too well at the ballot box of late.

The word “smashed” just flashed in my head, then “defeated,” then “Palin,” then I was overcome by the sound of laughter in the distance.

    Time for lunch!

The Democrats spent 5 long years conniving and Boooooosh! bashing their way, by hook and crook, into office in otherwise conservative districts; mostly by using foreign policy as a wedge, lying about Iraq and as we see now Afghanistan.

But now the chickens will be coming home-to roost! They will pay ahrd at the ballot box, especially if they follow through with the amnesty for illegals next year.

Their statist ways have been revealed, and the public is not too happy. Your boy Obama will be going down in 2012 also…
