   Odd, I was just called the same (asshole) by people with whom I differed about the unprecedented and earliest ever historic snow in Baton Rouge LA and other palm fringed points nearby. Just 18 days before Winter came, itself being crushed by um, global warming, the white stuff floated down and coated all. It was the first time our fair swamp got back to back years of snow, too. Itself historic indeed. I joked it was ‘sure proof of global warming.’ I was then informed by the Obamatized huddled masses yearning to be warmed that “but the averages are going up.” In an unfortunate, somewhat alcohol induced rush to judgment I tossed a few mini-snowballs as I opined that “yesh, indeedy, this shnow is warmer than last year’s shnowfall.”
   The local branch of Vikings for Copenhagen, waiting to pillage and plunder once the thousands of pages of new laws are passed to bring about this very snow we need so much to refill the glaciers of Louisiana, were not amused.

   Noooooo – my funding! my funding! I, erm, have a right to funding! C’mon! I have bills! I need my funding! Let’s cut a deal: I’ll change the data to fit the highest bidder! I know it makes me a whore – and it makes me other than an actual scientist… but science is an art! Like, some people like the results – others not so much – and those who don’t like the results the manufactured data promulgate are just… uneducated RACIIIIISSSSSTTTTSSSSSS!
