What the hell could they have been thinking, if it’s true? I mean, I’m buggered if I understand why O’Keefe would be at Landrieu’s offices if he weren’t doing something sting-related. Apparently, he was in town to give a talk to a libertarian group called the Pelican Institute. Still, what are you going to do with illegally acquired information?

In Boston, Stacy, Pete and I got to meet Hannah Giles. People were asking about the chances of ACORN going ahead with a lawsuit, and she and her friend were saying that ACORN wouldn’t pursue it, because of what they’d have to give up in discovery. Now, they don’t have to do a thing at all, because it appears that a victory has been handed to them.
Regardless, if you think ACORN are clean, you probably believe the IPCC.

We don’t know exactly what O’Keefe was doing. It looked like those guys were messing with the phones, but they could have just been getting footage for something.

I’m thinking they’re not stupid enough to try to bug a phone in broad daylight. At 11:00 am they entered the building, on a Monday morning.
If you’re going to bug the phones, you do it under the cover of darkness and elsewhere, such as at a local exchange.

And O’Keefe is videoing them with his cell phone? Liable to get as weird as Ellie Light.
If they did what they are accused of doing, then they should do time.
Interestingly, though, it seems that the left is freaking out over this, yet, had little problem with what William Jefferson did, has no problem with the US Congress robbing the American People blind, and no problem with Obama breaking every promise he made. Nor did they have a problem with what ACORN was taped saying.
Hell, public monies should be used to promote partisan causes, as long as they’re the causes of the right partisans. As for the rest of that stuff, that’s just bidness.

I get that Landrieu is one of the biggest whores out there–but this makes no sense at all. My guess they were attempting a video not bugging. Why bug when even if you get something you are going to go to jail for bugging a U.S. Senator. But who knows.
ACORN is hardly off the hook. If the MSM goes wild on O’Keefe, those videos are a dog turd to ACORN. Call it what you will, but the more those videos are looked at the worse it gets for ACORN.
