You’ve Got Me, Babe

HER: They say we're dumb and don’t listen
We’ll get our asses kicked in twenty-ten
HIM: Well I am sure that that’s not true
'Cause you got me, oh baby, yes, you do

HIM: Babe
BOTH: You got me, babe
You got me, babe

HER: They say our bills won't pay the rent
The stimulus means all our money’s spent
HIM: I guess that's so, that wad is shot
But just be grateful for what you have got

HIM: Babe
BOTH: You’ve got me, babe
You’ve got me, babe

HIM: You were hopey in the spring
‘Bout that changey Golden Thing
HER: But I am sad, ‘bout Scott Brown
And I’m really scared, that I’ll get pound-ded

HER: Don't let them say you’re too far left
My gravitas will give you extra heft
HIM: Then why has health care crashed and burned?
Will we see all our policies inurned?

HIM: No
BOTH: You’ve got me, babe
You’ve got me, babe

HIM: It’s not 1994
HER: I have seen this all before
HIM: I’m so special, can’t you see?
HER You are always on TV
I would rather have one term
It’s the turning of the worm
You’ve got me, so don’t let go
But your favorables scare me so

BOTH: You got me, babe
You’ve got me, babe
You’ve got me, babe
it's not my fault
You've got me, babe

The HillBuzz Guys

Stacy's got a good round-up.

Thanks to Cynthia Yockey, I'm in touch with one of the crew over there, and he'll likely be appearing on The B-Cast later today (although technical difficulties with the newest platform version caused the show's curtailment yesterday). Having read his email, it's clear that they have a pretty good understanding of how one of these intarweb hit jobs operates. And the mechanisms aren't a whole lot different from the ones being described by Patterico over at his place (keep scrolling), with respect to the mobylizing of astroturf--with the major difference that these are actual people who are being threatened and defamed. I think fraud is bad in any case, but that's just me. I know there are more enlightened people who understand that regular folks can't understand, so they need to be systematically deluded into adopting the right values.

The whole focus is on control, censureship and centralization of information. It's not very different in some respects from the White House's insistence that it be the one valid government portal for Haiti relief, whatever the merits or demerits of USAID might be. Whether its effectively disbursed is secondary to the fact that it's disbursed by the agencies that are chosen to represent the White House as emblem of the American people, and this is why it's very smart for people who resist concentration of power (and who understand the difference between their values and Obama's) to choose other vehicles for their contributions. Volunteerism? Don't make me laugh.

Face it. They stole your money so that they could be seen as beneficent whilst passing it out . . . to friends. You've, we've been shaken down. So . . . f*ck them.

Want some sweet, sweet Blog-O-Bucks? Hey, readers might supply that if they had jobs. Of course, there's no relation between money and free speech, when you're on the wrong side of history, baby.

You think that this isn't connected with Obama's furious reaction to Citizens United v. FEC? You think that it doesn't have anything to do with Sunstein's proposals, or the proposed return of the Fairness Doctrine? I think you're naive, if that's the case. This is a showdown, and we need to resist any ad-hoc mechanisms of censorship, such as this thuggery, and expose it, so that people understand what our would-be overlords intend.

For our own good!

Transparency. Accountability. Chicago.

Hell, every day brings more news regarding the tissue of lies that is AGW, and these pilfering asses continue to push the story. Fraud is their metier, their ambition and incarnation. And it's all because of you and your false consciousness.

More On Citizens United v FEC

At Big Hollywood:

I’ve been fascinated by the furor and fury over the Supreme Court decision in Citizens United v. FEC. It’s curious to be affiliated with, “the most irresponsible decision by the Supreme Court since the Dred Scott decision.” The left has screamed bloody murder about the demise of democracy. The left-brain has so firmly fixed the idea that “corporation” = evil, villainy, torture (George Bush), into its autonomic system that a clear reading of the case and decision is impossible for them.

Even President Obama seems to forget that he crushed McCain in corporate dollar contribution totals. In fact, Goldman Sachs was his largest corporate contributor. The press screams about unfettered lobbyists as if they are the zombies from 28 Days and yet fail to connect the fact that lobbying has seen its greatest proliferation under our present President (this from the candidate who promised to get rid of lobbyists). CU v. FEC represents everything wrong with America when viewed through the left lens. However, my experience as the director of the film at the eye of the storm, does nothing but reaffirm everything that I believe is good about America.

Suggest Video Ideas for Steve G.

Steve Gutowski, the College Politico, has been working for EyeBlast.tv for some months now, and has produced some good videos. Now he's asking for your support, by giving him ideas. For the moment, you can email him at tipsforsteve-at-aol-dot-com with your suggestions.

Got a whole bunch of links to clips of Obama referencing the mess he inherited? Want to see them all strung together? Steve's your guy.

As you may know, The B-Cast premieres a lot of The Naked Emperor pieces. I'm hopeful that we'll be able to use Steve's talents the same way. But saving him some of the time tracking down noteworthy video and deciding how best to use it will permit him to be more productive and responsive.

I hope to get up a permanent suggestion box in the sidebar, just as soon as possible.

How To Get Those Sweet Federal Blog-O-Bucks

From The Prowler at The Spectator:

BLOGGERS PROPANDISTS

As Attorney General Eric Holder hunkers down to avoid questions about his decision to try the Christmas Day bomber in federal criminal court and to have the bomber's Miranda Rights protected, more information emerges on the Obama Administration's decision to house propagandist "new media specialists" in most major Cabinet-level Offices of Public Affairs. These bloggers, paid with taxpayer funds, routinely pass along "Administration approved" talking points to bloggers and online journalists, monitor conservative or "adversarial" websites, and post comments in support of the Administration on a number of those sites.

In the case of Justice, that "blogger," as reported by the Muffled Oar blog is Tracy Russo, a former Democrat National Committee staffer, with ties to Sen. John Edwards' campaigns. But similar jobs also exist at the Department of Treasury, the Department of State and the Department of Education.

According to a reporter, who has covered the Department of Justice for a major financial wire service during the current administration, a number of daily newspaper reporters were aware of the work Russo was undertaking at DOJ, and yet withheld reporting the situation, "because those reporters were being given access and information from OPA that helped them with their daily news filings."

Meanwhile, according to a career employee in the Department of Justice, both the House and Senate Judiciary Committees sent formal letters of inquiry to the Department of Justice regarding its "blogging" policies, but DOJ officials have yet to even acknowledge the letters.

Jobs created!

Related. Half the calories of regular Ellie. Please don't leave your rejoinder in comments, Ellie, as I've already read it at Joy McCann's. Frankly, since you've lied over and over, I don't give a rat's ass what your explanation is, Moby.

HillBuzz Bloggers Outed, Threatened by Nutrootz Thugz

Via Scott Baker:

They really crossed a line this time, though. They are no longer just attacking the entity that is “HillBuzz”, but those at the Daily Kos, DemocraticUnderground, Moveon.org and other George Soros, DNC-backed troll mills have ratcheted up their attacks to the personal level. Unlike Michelle Malkin, Erik Erikson over at Red State, or even people like Nikke Finke at DeadlineHollywood or Harry Knowles at AintItCoolNews, we’ve maintained this site anonymously because we wanted to have personal lives apart from writing original content on the Internets. 99% of you have respected this convention, and have allowed us to just be the “HillBuzz boys”, or other variations on whatever you call us. That’s allowed us to be both Batman and Bruce Wayne, which means we can still have jobs, go out and have fun, and enjoy life while spending half our time each day working our hearts out for our love of country in service of whatever we can do to defeat Liberals and stop socialism from taking over this nation.

But, the Kossacks and Moveon.organisms have decided to attack us on the personal, not just the site, level. They are using some of our real names, urging their members to do us personal and physical harm in our real lives, and calling us racists over and over again in the hopes of making us unemployable in the future — because they’ve libeled us by calling us RAAACISTS! on that personal level.

And, you know what, this tactic does have an immediate psychological and financial impact. This weekend, after these attacks from the Kossacks and Moveon.organism began, we lost two freelance jobs because the nonprofits we were working with felt they can’t be associated with people who are being called racists, since these nonprofits work in the black community and here in Chicago there is a neverending turf war on the Southside, where anything is game when it comes to business or politics. People who’ve worked with us in the past decided their own jobs would be in jeopardy if they had us on upcoming projects, because if the black community was riled up against these organizations for having people called RAAACISTS! on the team, then their own jobs would be lost. The way it works is this: if you have a job in the black community, there is always someone out there who wants that job instead of you, and that person will look for any sort of hook to yank you from that job so they can take it. This RAAACIST garbage is always a favorite hook.

And it is the chief weapon of the Left against just about everyone.

Rally to HillBuzz. They deserve your support.

Rallying: Stacy and Donald Douglas.

And more on casual defamation.

More better update: Cynthia Yockey was all over this days ago.
