Ray probably deserves to be convicted for manslaugher for his recklessness and definitely taken to the cleaners on the coming civil suits by the families who lost members (that is for some jury in Arizona). I do not think he intended to kill anyone, but his recklessness is even worse than one getting behind the wheel drunk and killing someone. So that is what makes it intentional, his reckless disregard of the likely outcomes. I am surprised more did not die. Presumably Ray was sober when this all went down.

While the victims did allow themselves to be victims to a degree (beware new age sweat lodges and other treatments), they most definitely did not deserve to die and their trust in Ray does not get Ray off the hook at all. I am so sorry for their families.

Do you think this case will go to trial, or do you think he’ll take a plea bargain..?
