Global Warming Hard Sell Gone Wild!!
I'm reasonably certain the combination of several blunders from the Global Warming Half Naked Tribe, especially the UN's IPCC screw up of data and the drafty E-Mails from East Anglia's Climate Research Unit. Certainty the most recent low example was the result of the quirky climate meeting in Cancun. What was completely clear about this (beyond the description of the record cold temperatures) was the almost complete lack of scientific content about the warming-that-isn't-warming. Oh, no, they were much more focused on adding up the filthy lucre that wealthier countries need send to poorer countries, 100 billion dollars over 10 years, designed to make several dictators filthy rich ... um ... I mean ... give all of those countries the opportunity to back away from fossil fuels industries and just use the monies to improve their Middle Aged agriculture and toss a few pennies to the populous.
With the constant crying to media concerning their forced backtracking by industry Nazi's and ignorant yahoos, AGW hard cores have been scrambling to try and come up with important, weighty tomes to convince people that the Earth is deep frying to a crackly crunch (as opposed to the top of the environmental haters "baking to a delicate crunch.") This requires really big acts and really, really big sacrifices. Yawns have been spawned aplenty lately, especially the last month of creaming winter storms. Where are they to go and become interesting to people who actually listen and hear something tangible and logical? Who among them would be able to sensitively reach out to mankind and firmly showcase their talented and knowledgeable position on AGW?
Well ... not Dr. James Hansen. He has decided that the US, the bastion of bastards who heat rape momma Earth and laugh at his protests need to be punished, whipped publicly ... by China! In other words, over the edge and flapping his arms in national hatred ... of his own country compared to ... Communist China.
Hanson has been a radical Laboratory Climatologist (working at NASA fer cryin' out loud) since the late 80's and the ongoing record of his predictions of sweat and tears has been abysmal. Regardless, his attitude has continued to flame and squeal and pound away, new and better information on the environment not withstanding. His need to sanctify the entire planet has made him crazier and more desperate, thus leading to the obnoxious insult of denigrating his own country:
The nation's most prominent publicly funded climatologist is officially angry about this, blaming democracy and citing the Chinese government as the "best hope" to save the world from global warming. He also wants an economic boycott of the U.S. sufficient to bend us to China's will.
I'd just like to take a moment and wait for someone, anyone, who can demonstrate China's long history of humanely protecting the environment:
[...] Zippity do dah.
Is there a more deepened, seasoned way to demonstrate one's own ignorance and, well, lunacy, that one would not only identify China as a big global environmental protector but also rave about this same country stomping their economic foot down upon the country which is his freakin', frackin' home? How utterly insular to the point of nonsense does one have to be in order to betray one's own country as merely a opportunity to express one's spittle racked nut head that simply does not reflect the actual science of the Earth? His worldly sliding is mind boggling:
According to Mr. Hansen, compared to China, we are "the barbarians" with a "fossil-money- 'democracy' that now rules the roost," making it impossible to legislate effectively on climate change. Unlike us, the Chinese are enlightened, unfettered by pesky elections. Here's what he blogged on Nov. 24:
"I have the impression that Chinese leadership takes a long view, perhaps because of the long history of their culture, in contrast to the West with its short election cycles. At the same time, China has the capacity to implement policy decisions rapidly. The leaders seem to seek the best technical information and do not brand as a hoax that which is inconvenient."
This entire concept is ludicrous beyond mortal measurement. It provides a clear and present lunacy of an American scientist so completely fixated on one, specific scientific dementia as to reveal his mental fogginess. Here is not an example of a guy who only cares about scrapping billions from his country as a progressive cash cow snagging the country jewels for poor countries, while absorbing a percentage for him and his political cronies. Hanson has pretty much denigrated into a deeply delusional quack, fired by environmental emotions that don't reflect anything close to scientific reality.
Think that his attitude towards his country, based up[on an abominable ignorance of the history of the comparing country, is as deep and dark as it gets? Nope!
Mr. Hansen has another idea to circumvent our democracy. Because Congress is not likely to pass any legislation making carbon-based energy prohibitively expensive, he proposed, in the South China Morning Post, that China lead a boycott of our economy:
"After agreement with other nations, e.g., the European Union, China and these nations could impose rising internal carbon fees. Existing rules of the World Trade Organization would allow collection of a rising border duty on products from all nations that do not have an equivalent internal carbon fee or tax.
"The United States then would be forced to make a choice. It could either address its fossil-fuel addiction ... or ... accept continual descent into second-rate and third-rate economic well-being."
Growing economy reflects "fossil-fuel addiction?" China is growing faster than anyone, monster. Not only would it be more than content to exceed the US, your country, monster, in the use of fossil fuels it is working to accomplish this as soon as possible! Dr. Hanson's clueless rhetoric moves beyond radicalism and surly dogma: In fact it reflects the idea that this man, NASA employee, scientist, has clearly ... lost his mind. The article author has this figured out:
His forecasts of climatic change for nearly the last quarter-century are fantasy, as is his notion that dictators are better than democracy and that our country should be bullied into submission.
I must say that there is a part of me that feels sorry for his loss of mental understanding. The fact that he will continue to ply his heartless insult to his own country simply energizes the idea of chasing him and pounding his media character like a rubber chicken.

China had to shut down entire cities in order to mask its ‘progressive’ ‘earth friendly’ pollution during the olympics. Every week we have product poisonings from Chinese shipments to the US. Yes, they are quite the example to follow.

Oh, I completely forgot about the faux publicity only progressive environmental fluff China wielded during the Olympics. much of which failed miserably. That must have been the reason Dr. Hansen thought China would be a powerful dictator-ecologist. Good point.
